The minutes were approved.<br /><br /> REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Bob Wildman, President, Ted Palmeri, VP Membership, Marie Giusto, V.P. Social, Judy Lafferty, V.P. Field, and Ann Lawson, VP Special, presented their annual reports, highlights of which were as follows: A new Membership Roster for 2011 was prepared listing 111 members. Social activities included the Fiesta Fantastico Party, Chili Cookoff, Picnic Potluck, Octoberfest 2010, Halloween Party, King & Queen Dinner, Christmas Party, Valentine s Day Party and St. Patrick s Day Party. Field activities included the Prado campout and Saturday night dinner, Autry Museum Tour/Brunch and Tom s Farm outing. The annual Service Auction grossed close to $6,000 thanks to great member participation and our auctioneer Fred Kramer. The Annual Ski trip to Vail had 22 participants. The Lake Tahoe trip had 25 participants. The Neu s will be hosting a picture party for both trips this summer. For 2012 two trips are planned, to Steamboat Springs and Lake Tahoe. Norbert Knapp was reelected president of L.A. Council and Ann Lawson has been attending and reporting on monthly meetings. This year 7 issues of the Nachrichten were published at an average cost per issue of $156.00 for printing and postage. Having the Nachrichten on the website has cut down on our costs considerably.<br /><br /> TREASURER S REPORT: Sally Lash, Treasurer, reported that the Club is within budget for the year and gave kudos to Marie Giusto for helping to keep costs down. The Club s current assets are $12,201.01. A detailed report is on the website.<br /><br /> IN SUMMARY: President Bob Wildman congratulated everyone on his Board, Sally for keeping the books in order, Ann for running the ski trips and Service Auction, Ted for producing a great roster for 2011, Judy and Marie for all their work putting on activities and parties and Jane and Jim for producing fantastic Nachrichtens which Benno puts on the website. He also created a new administrative position by appointing Verena Somer to be in charge of Promotion/Communications. Verena sends out the e-mail  Blasts to help remind us of events and activities. We had two Queens this year, Sally Lash and Sandra Knapp to one King, Tom Lafferty. Bob also thanked Eleonore for being his Advisor and showing him the ropes. He closed by encouraging members to make more of an effort to participate in the many Club activities.<br /><br /> The Nominating Committee was introduced by Bob Wildman:<br /> Lou Hoesl, Sandra Knapp and Ann Lawson<br /> On behalf of the Committee, Lou Hoesl furnished ballots to all members present.The candidates were as follows:<br /> PRESIDENT: Bob Wildman<br /> SECRETARY: Dot Steeves<br /> TREASURER: Benno Rayhrer<br /> V.P. The motion was carried unanimously.<br /><br /> SOCIAL AWARDS<br /> Marie Giusto, V.P. Social, opened nominations for social awards. Nominees are:<br /> Grindelwalder of the Year: Bob Wildman, Marie Giusto<br /> Most Improved Skier: Cheryl Graffi, Verena Somer<br /> Best Summer Participant: Tom and Judy Lafferty, Richard and Shirley Melendez<br /> Voting will take pace at the Installation Banquet<br /><br /> KING AND QUEEN<br /> Nominations were opened for King and Queen.<br /> Nominees for Queen are: Betty Richardson, Judy Lafferty<br /> Nominees for King are: Lou Hoesl, Ted Palmeri, Sam Steiner<br /> Further nominations will be accepted at the Installation Banquet, at which time voting will take place.<br /><br /> LIFE MEMBERSHIPS: The following candidates were presented for Life Membership: Eleonore Hoesl, Lou Hoesl, Ted Palmeri.
