He noted that Benno Rayhrer will be the only change to the Board as our new Treasurer. Jackie Ziegler brought our new pins to the installation brunch, and although they are smaller it was all she could get as she collected them from members of the Swiss Club who had extras.<br><br> <b>SECRETARY:</b> On motion by Sally Lash, seconded by Ann Lawson, the minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted.<br><br> <b>TREASURER:</b> Sally reported that she and Benno had met to work out the transfer of records to our new Treasurer and stated that the Treasurer s Report is on line. Bob appointed Sally as Assistant Treasurer to interface between Benno and the club when he is unable to be present. The appointment was approved by the Board.<br><br> <b>V.P. MEMBERSHIP:</b> In Ted s absence there was no report from Membership.<br><br> <b>SUNSHINE:</b> Bob advised that he had talked to Betty Richardson regarding Earl and that Earl was to be transferred to a rehab center. Cards have been sent to Earl and Olga.<br><br> <b>V.P. FIELD:</b> Judy was absent but Bob reminded the Board that Prado was coming up on June 4th and there were 20 signups.<br><br> <b>V.P. SOCIAL:</b> Kudos were given by Bob to Marie for the successful installation brunch. There was discussion about the summer party. Marie advised that she would contact the Kramers immediately as to whether they wanted to host the party this year.<br><br> <b>V.P. SPECIAL:</b> Ann reported that she needs to transfer $1000 from the General Account to the Travel Account to cover deposits on trips, etc. The contract with Steamboat is due next week. Ann made a motion to so transfer funds, seconded by Sally and unanimously carried. Ann handed out her report which is attached to the minutes of this meeting.<br><br> <b>NACHRICHTEN:</b> Jane advised that the Nachrichten would be out in the next few days. Jane will include a congratulatory piece on the three new life members.<br><br> <b>PAST PRESIDENT/ADVISOR:</b> Eleonore Hoesl was absent.<br><br> <b>L.A. COUNCIL:</b> Ann advised that she had sent the registration in for the FWSA Convention.<br><br> <b>NEW BUSINESS:</b></b><br> 1. Budget  There was discussion as to the proposed budget for 2010/2011 presented by Sally Lash. Dot made a motion that the budget be accepted as presented, seconded by Marie and carried unanimously.<br> 2. GSC  Sally made a motion that the Club donate $100 to the Swiss Club for their youth program in return for the pins they furnished us. Seconded by Ann and carried unanimously.<br> 3. Service Auction  Dot suggested that specific dates be set for auction items to avoid conflicts in carrying them out<br> 4.
